Everything seems to be in it´s place for now at least that´s what everybody thinks, but not me. Lets just say that no one sees reality not even me. I know few things about reality actually, but anyways I can learn more about it. Anyways I do know that the world is a disaster while others don´t. There are so many weird people that only think they exist. Anyways what else can I do? People don´t get it.

Country History
Colombia was one of the three countries that emerged from the collapse of Gran Colombia in 1830 (the others are Ecuador and Venezuela). A 40-year conflict between government forces and anti-government insurgent groups and illegal paramilitary groups escalated during the 1990s. Violence has been decreasing since about 2002, but attacks continue to occur. The Colombian Government has stepped up efforts to reassert government control throughout the country, and now has a presence in every one of its municipalities. However, concerns about violence still exist, being less than before.

For Today

I have been very sad and sick on the lasts days. This has caused me an uncreative attack. Which means I haven´t known what to write in the last days. Anyways I want to write of my opinion for today.
First of all I am simply tired of people thinking that their problems are so big they could affect the whole world. they even think the world will be destroyed, that the biggest catastrophe will happen to evolve out of their "huge" problems. How can people be like that? well it all starts when they are born and they are so spoiled they think nobody else in the world exists until second grade when they finally find out there are more countries and more people, but they are still being spoiled (this is done until eleventh grade more or less) then their life is ruined- they don´t know how to do anything alone. All because they are spoiled Brats that forgot that they are not the center of the universe.

Second of all Ive seriously been trying to be patient with people that are so presumed. I´m so tired of people believing they are the beautifulest thing that ever happened in the world. By the way this are the same people that care about what others think which means they don´t have a personality which doesn´t make them the beautifulest thing that happened to the world. People simply need to see reality.

Third of all I love Colombia and I am scared of what may happen to Colombia when a new president comes. I hope for the best to happen and also want Juan Manuel Santos to be the winner or else the last eight years will be useless to every Colombian that has a better life.

Cali-Colombia Fun Facts

Cali is Colombia’s third largest city. Founded in 1536 by Sebastian de Belalcazar, it was a sleepy little mountain town until the sugar and coffee industries brought prosperity to the region.

Cali is located in Colombia’s southwestern region, about 995 meters above sea level. A diverse region of coast, foothills and the Andean cordillera. Cali is a rich archaeological area, as well as culturally diverse. See this interactive map from Expedia.

It enjoys terrific nightlife in the salsotecas, and visitors enjoy the historic center as well as excursions into the surrounding areas for sugar haciendas.

Valle del Cauca has the most sugar facories in all Colombia.

TUESDAY QUOTES

It makes me happy to think that it´s Tuesday because I love quotes because they teach you and make you remmember about so many things about life.

" Be the change yo want to see in the world"

-Mahatma Gandhi

"If you don't like something change it; if you can't change it, change the way you think about it."
- Mary Engelbreit

"For everything you have missed, you have gained something else, and for everything you gain, you lose something else."
- Ralph Waldo Emerson

"If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude."
- Maya Angelou

"Most people can look back over the years and identify a time and place at which their lives changed significantly. Whether by accident or design, these are the moments when, because of a readiness within us and a collaboration with events occurring around us, we are forced to seriously reappraise ourselves and the conditions under which we live and to make certain choices that will affect the rest of our lives."
- Frederick F. Flack

"Everything you now do is something you have chosen to do. Some people don't want to believe that. But if you're over age twenty-one, your life is what you're making of it. To change your life, you need to change your priorities."
- John C. Maxwell

It's a long road when you face the world alone, when no one reaches out a hand for you to hold. You can find love if you search within your soul, and the emptiness you felt will disappear."
-Mariah Carey

"Definition of forgiveness: The perfume a flower leaves on the shoe that crushed it."
-Source Unknown

Quote of the day: "Don´t judge the look, judge the soul."

I Was Wondering

I have been wondering in the last weeks why some people like to be seen as idiots. I was wondering what happens to those people I mean, I don´t know if they actually are idiots or they just make it all up. Well I´m not that sure but I just find it ridiculous and weird.
It might seem ridiculous but anyways that´s a brief something I wanted to talk about It´s weird but at least it´s logical.

Small post for the worst day of the week: Monday.

Once again Shakira will be presenting herself in the soccer world cup. This time she has the official song, it has a dialect that is probably South African I don´t know but it is a very good song.

TUESDAY QUOTES

"Teach this triple truth to all: A generous heart, kind speech, and a life of service and compassion are the things which renew humanity." Buddha

"The world is indebted for all triumphs which have been gained by reason and humanity over error and oppression." Thomas Jefferson

"Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive." Dalai Lama

"An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity." Martin Luther King, Jr.

"All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence." Martin Luther King, Jr.

"It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity." Albert Einstein

"We cannot despair of humanity, since we ourselves are human beings." Albert Einstein

"You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty." Mohandas Gandhi

"Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being "in love" which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two." -St. Augustine

My Oh My

I haven´t written in a long time about Colombia and I was thinking I could write about the near presidential elections in Colombia. Well there are six candidates but the most important or influential are Juan Manuel Santos and Antanas Mockus. Antanas Mockus is from the Partido Verde or Green whatever, I don´t like him I mean he has gained lots of popularity in the last weeks but I still think he is crazy in thinking that Colombia can survive without an army and that the most important thing for this country is education. I´m not saying education isn´t important I´m just saying that in order to succeed in it there must be security for all. He is crazy. By the way he has shown many people his butt and has peed in a classroom- now you see why I say he is CRAZY. Funny. He wants to be a Colombian president.

Then comes Juan Manuel Santos- he is right for being an intelligent and not crazy president of Colombia. He was Ministro de defensa when Uribe was president and he did great. He actually knows what the situation in Colombia needs. I don´t know what´s going on, people don´t get it he is what Colombia needs. How can people be changed in such a small time can´t they see that what has been done in the last year has improved many bad perceptions of others about Colombia? can´t they see that we can´t go back to the bad times of Colombia? People just seem stupid. It´s so complicated. The worst thing is I can´t vote, just because I´m not eighteen. That´s funnier, I know the reality and I´m fifteen and there´s people that don´t know what Colombia needs and are thirty. Wow! impressively FUNNY.
The thing is that I would actually be sad if Mockus wins. I´m scared of what will happen I love Colombia with all my might and I want the best for it so I would really want for the good to happen. Colombian´s think, Please. Colombia is your country the one that will give you and has given you everything the one that has given us the passion and the proudness we feel for it.

Conclusion: It´s to bad I can´t vote.
