DANCING

Dancing is everything to me it is like my therapist only it´s not person that gives me advice but something I can do for myself to be happy and enjoy life. That´s why today I will talk a bit about Colombian Dances. Colombians love to dance and the energy we put in it is incredible, some Colombian dances have African and colonial roots.

In the Atlantic Coast we can find various dances because they have a very energetic culture and have the Carnaval de Barranquilla. Some dances are Vallenato invented in Valledupar, Mapale form african roots, Currulao, Porro, Puya, Merecumbe, and much more.

In the Pacific region you can also find lots of happy people and lots of dances as well like Colombian Salsa in the Salsa capital Cali-Colombia, Caderona, Bambuco viejo, Danza Chocoana, and many more dances full of happiness and passion.

In the Andean Region you can also find various dances some examples are Bambuco, San Juanero, Porro Antioqueño, and many more.

In the Orinoquia region you can find more dances also full of energy like Joropo, Guacharaca and many more.

This are just some dances of Colombia of course the most important dance of Colombia is CUMBIA the national dance that is totally entertaining and unique.
